Currie: Play-Offs In Reach

Ipswich Town midfielder Darren Currie believes Town can still make the play-offs despite the 1-0 defeat against Wolves today.

The defeat has left Town in 10^th place, 8 points behind 6^th placed Preston who have two games in hand over Town but Currie believes Town can close the gap.

 

“We would have been disappointed to have come away with a draw so to leave with nothing is a real sickener, we bossed long periods of the game but just couldn't get the breakthrough that we deserved.

 

“But after the result you look at the performance and I think we can take plenty of positives out of the game despite the scoreline. If we keep producing that sort of football we still have a chance of making the top six.”
