Preview: Town - Millwall

STB brings you team news, manager previews, betting odds and the officials ahead of Towns game against Millwall tomorrow afternoon (KO 3pm).

Town are with out a shortening list of players for tomorrows game, Sam Parkin, Adam Proudlock and Nicky Forster are out injured, Ricardo Fuller is suspended and Alan Lee is a minor doubt with a hamstring injury.

 

Town manger Joe Royle: “This is a tough game against Millwall, who are fighting for their lives. They still have a great chance of getting out of the bottom three. They do produce their own kids to come through, and I don't know whether it is their attitude of everyone is against us and being in adversity, but Millwall do a lot right there.

 

“If we carry on playing as we have and we get the goals we can, then we can make it easy for ourselves but they won't make it easy for us.

 

“We have momentum. Even earlier in the season when we lost against Crystal Palace and Hull City I could see improvement and we have been making good progress since.”

 

Town squad: Scott Barron, Darren Currie, Jason De Vos, Owen Garvan, Danny Haynes, Jimmy Juan, Alan Lee, Jim Magilton, Dean McDonald, Richard Naylor, Lewis Price, Matt Richards, Luis Sito, Shane Supple, Ian Westlake, Fabian Wilnis.

 

Millwall are without striker Barry Hayles, midfielders Josh Simpson Jody Morris for tomorrows match.

 

Lions assistant boss Tony Burns: “We will take confidence from the win against Luton into this game. Ipswich are a good side, but they're beatable and I genuinely think we can get three points up there.

 

“I still believe that we could do with another player or two in the squad, but things are looking up a bit in terms of numbers of players available to us now.

 

“Colin Cameron could be a real asset to us. I thought he did well last week, and I also think we were absolutely right to protect him by taking him off when we did. He hasn't played a lot of football recently, and after a full reserve game at Wolves on the Thursday night, we were afraid of him picking up a strain and missing two or three games. He'll be better prepared for the Ipswich match.”
