Bam Bam To Miss 2?

Ipswich Town defender Richard Naylor could miss Town’s next two league games if his red card appeal fails.

Naylor was dismissed just ten minutes into Town’s game against Preston last night for a foul on Brett Ormerod and as it was his second red card of the season he is facing a two game ban.

 

Naylor: “It was a very harsh decision.

 

“When they broke after we lost the ball I tried to cover and kept a straight line to Ormerod. He came across me and was looking for the foul before I even made a challenge.

 

“I'm just hoping now that the appeal is successful.”

 

Naylor was also sent off against Millwall back in August, if his appeal is unsuccessful he will miss the games against Crystal Palace and Hull.
