MP to lead Milton Keynes protest

MP Roger Casale has vowed to fight on against his constituency club Wimbledon's move to Milton Keynes.

The Dons received the green light to leave their traditional home for the city on Tuesday.

But Casale has backed Wimbledon supporters outraged at the verdict and will lobby Parliament to block the plan.

He has called a meeting of MPs at the House of Commons on June 13 to discuss his next move.

Casale said: "The fans have fought a fantastic campaign, which we worked on together and took to Parliament and Government ministers.

"I will continue to do everything I can to resist the move to Milton Keynes."
