| The Gelredome is the city of Arnhem's small brother to the Amsterdam Arena (it too has a sliding roof!) and opened in 1998 with room for 26,600 people. It is home to Vitesse F.C. while also being used for pop concerts and other large scale events. A special feature is its grass surface which can be 'driven' off the pitch. Just as at the Amsterdam Arena refreshments can only be bought with special tokens "ohra's". |
