FA Cup round 1

The draw for the first round of the FA Cup was made this afternoon and Hartlepool have been drawn away to Rochdale

Hartlepool will be travelling to Spotland for the first round of the FA Cup after being drawn against fellow League 2 side Rochdale.

The draw was made after the Darlo game be Trevor Brooking and England rugby stars Neil Back and Will Greenwood.

Hartlepool last season went out at the second round against Tamworth 2-1 after beating Dagenham and Redbridge by the same score in the first round.

Last season Rochdale went out in the first round after getting beat 1-0 by Brentford
