Wilson misses out ... again

Danny Wilson has once again been overlooked in the manager of the month awards. This time Paul Sturrock of Swindon has won the award

The January manager of the month award for League 2 has gone to Swindon manager Paul Sturrock. Swindon won 4 and drew 1 in January were as Pools won 3 and drew 2.

It does seem though that Danny Wilson must have upset the selectors as this is the second month running he has been overlooked and he has now took Pools to 14 games unbeaten - 12 of which have been wins.

Pools can still win an award this month as Micky Nelson is up for Player of the month
