Defender Efetobore Sodje has finally had his contract cancelled by mutual consent. The defender fell out of favor at Priestfield following a serious head injury at Yeovil, and switched to Bury on loan, Sodje now return to Bury in a player-coach role.

Stimson still chasing Maher
Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has confirmed his interest in bringing Kevin Maher back to Priestfield, on a permanent basis. The thirty-one-year-old midfielder spent the end of last season on loan at Gills, and following his release by Southend United, has been training with The Gills.
Duo interested in Facey
Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has confirmed that two clubs have shown interest in transfer-listed striker Delroy Facey. The twenty-eight-year-old striker only joined the club last summer, but fell out of Mark Stimson's first team plans and was sent out on loan to Wycombe.
Mulligan signs new deal at Priestfield
Gillingham striker Gary Mulligan has put pen-to-paper in signing a new deal to keep him at Priestfield for another season at least. The hard-working forward recently stated he wanted to leave Priestfield to stay in League One, but has now had a change of heart and is to stay and help The Gills' bid for an immediate return to League One.
