Reading v Leeds
Leeds will be looking to build on Saturday's excellent win at Bolton, as they visit boss Brian McDermott's old team Reading this evening. With an injury doubt over right back Lee Peltier, there is every chance that we will see Sam Byram back in the squad tonight. Peltier has done well this season, but a groin strain puts his place in doubt. Leeds beaten by QPR
Leeds slipped to their first defeat of the season against Championship favourites QPR on Saturday. If I’m honest, it wasn’t a classic, with neither team really peppering the goal. Here was an outspoken no-nonsense Chairman that could finally stand up the leeches that had plagued Leeds United since our debts were announced. A man that wouldn’t be taken for a ride, or allow our club to be taken for a ride and someone who had money, and contacts to get us back on the road to recovery.

Will Bates deliver final kick to Leeds?
Ken Bates was unexpectedley sacked as Leeds United President a couple of days ago, but in typical Bates style, he's come out fighting. It seems the former Chelsea and Leeds United Chairman has agreed a contract with a private Charter Flight company to ensure he could keep flying to the city over the next three years, at a cost of half a million of pounds...

Leeds played their first pre season game at Farsley on Saturday, and two of the three new signings bagged a goal. Leeds played two completely different teams in each half, as boss Brian McDermott gave the majority of his squad a run out.
