Gradel to leave

By Andy Baggott

Leeds winger/striker Max Gradel is on his way out of Elland Road.  Last years player of the year has been the subject of much speculation about his future as he enters the last year of hs contract.  West Ham have had an offer rejected, and Leeds Chairman Ken Bates insisted he would not be sold

This however, changed today, when Gradel put in a transfer request, and Leeds have accepted a bid from French side St Ettienne.  No fee mentioned yet, but with just over 24 hours until the transfer deadline, it will be hard to replace the former Leicester wide man...

I understand why Max would want to go but I'm sickened by this. I've been saying for years KB isn't good for LUFC & now I have my doubts over SG. It's lie after lie after lie...

It's greyer outside than a grey day on a freshly grey painted battleship under grey skies sailing on a grey ocean of grey water. It's fu-cking grim supporting this club.

Continual misery injected occassionally with a droplet of ecstacy just to keep the false dawns on the horizon.

Following LUFC makes 10 years in soliatary on devils island look like an all inclusive at Sandal's!

he submitted a transfer request... this has nothing to do with bates etc. we know he's used to turning down cash for players in the last year of their contracts (see johnson / beckford)

Leeds, Always.

And Kilkenny!

Rumours abound that some club offered 50p for him but we politely declined.
