Portsmouth v Leeds - preview

Leeds travel to crisis club Portsmouth on Saturday, with manager Neil Warnock at the helm for the first time. Portsmouth supporters must be the only ones in the country who have been through the mill as much as we have in recent years - the South coast club have just entered administration for the second time.
It's hard not to sympathise with Pompey as the fans have had to sit and watch whilst various owners play at running their club, before walking away from a disaster.
Still - Saturday is about the football - a relief I'm sure to the home fans..
Warnock will be picking his first side, and has already hinted at a formation change - one to get key man Robert Snodgrass more involved. He will certainly be without Andros Townsend who has declared himself unhappy at Leeds and ended his loan..he is back at Tottenham, but expected to sign for Birmingham soon.
After last weeks dramstic late win against Doncaster, Warnock hinted at putting Snodgrss 'in the hole', and it will be interesting this week to see his first starting 11. There is still time to get an emergency loan player or two - something the boss is very keen to bring in. He has already identified a lack of a leader, and don't be surprised to see one or two new faces sooner rather than later...
A win is vital for Leeds to keep their slim play off dreams alive, and they need to be ruthless and take advantage of Portsmouth plight to ensure that happens...
