Birmingham v Leeds

Leeds host Birmingham looking to secure a much needed win. Although Neil Warnock's men are undefeated in 7, recent displays have shown cause for concern.
Last Friday saw a poor performance at Sheffield Wednesday, and only an outstanding goal by Michael Tonge rescued a point. Tuesday night saw an even worse effort, and we got a draw in a game we really should have been winning. The visit of Birmingham at the weekend is a big test. The Blues have been highly inconsistent this season, perfectly summed up last time out at Millwall - they were 3 down after 18 minutes, but, inspired by a Marlon King hat trick, came back to draw 3-3. That one game summed up Birmingham this season, very good or woeful.
Back to Leeds, and the one thing Warnock has brought to us is an ability to grind out a point or a win when playing poorly. This might be crucial come the end of the season, if and when we find our form (Everton anyone?). Expect changes at the back where Warnock still seems to be struggling to find his best combination - Tom Tees and Jason Pearce have been regulars, but the rest seem to be changed every week...
Warnock is still in the market for another loan signing or two - something we are in desperate need of to freshen things up - Birmingham Leeds is a big, big game - despite neither of us been in the top flight anymore, these two sleeping giants usually produce a fantastic atmosphere - let's hope the football matches it...

One of my grimmest memories is watching leeds v brum in a new years eve match (i think) about 30 year ago.
It was nil all...absolutely freezing, foggy, nigh-tmatch with about 15,000 watching.....death would have been preferable to being a spectator,,,,,it should have put me off for life.
