Nottm Forest Res v Leeds Res Wed 27 Oct k.o 7pm City Ground this match has been put back 24 hours to Wednesday night because of Leeds 1st team League Cup match at Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Not quite It was Lukic's 18 yr old son. Leeds started off the first half with plenty of neat passing and good ball play from Woods, Winter and Keogh, with Aaron Lennon always looking dangerous turning his marker and running at the Forest defence. Lennon had Leeds first half chance at goal but his shot was weak and was easily smothered by Roache in the Forest goal.

McKeown slipped in the right back position and let in the Forest left winger to cross across the 6yrd box, luckily the Forest forwards weren't quick enough to get to the ball.

Towards the end of the first half a good move from Lennon led to his best chance of the night. Lennon turned his marker just over the half way line and beat 2 defenders before bringing a save out of the Forest keeper, pity Lennon didn't lay the ball of to Rothery on his right who was unmarked screaming for the ball. Minutes later Gavin Rothery jinked between a couple of defenders and went close with a left foot shot across goal. Keogh in particular looked much sharper after his loan spell at Scu.nthorpe.

The 2nd half was pretty even until 61st min when Forest went ahead. The Leeds youngsters started to tire and the demands of 2 games per week seemed to affect the likes of Parker and McKeown.

Harpal Singh made a welcome return after injury and came on as sub for Gavin Raothery on 71 mins.

Leeds threw on 12 Kev Smith for Lennon and 14 Ian Morris for Parker on 80 mins, but by then Forest seemed to have the game in the bag.

Some of the youngsters have an u18 game away at Huddersfield on Saturday and another reserve match away at Newcastle on monday.
