TP Writer Paddy Feeney is seriously ill.

Readers of the site, I hope you will join me in wishing young Patrick Feeney a speedy recovery. The tangerine-planet reporter recently fell seriously ill but should be back to action first. Aged just 16 he's helped with the site for two years and aspires to be a sports journalist.

However he's fell ill with Colitis, Classed as an inflammatory bowel disease, it's one of a group of illnesses that can affect the tissue that lines the gastrointestinal system. As a result of this problem the victim can suffer depression, weight loss, aches and pains. Along with tiredness and a change in bowel habits especially the frequency in which the victim requires to go to the toilet.

Paddy as part of his condition has suffered from some internal bleeding and will now rest for most of the week. But if his condition worsens he may require painful surgery on his intestines. We hope he makes a speedy recovery soon and our thoughts are with him and his family at this time.
