Our new columnist, Mr X, tells us what he thinks.

Following the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday we were sent this email from an anonymous Blackpool fan, so impressed by his doom and gloom we've given him his own blog. Known only as MR X he is the voice of Doom and Gloom and below is his quite sensational rant at a certain Mr Grayson.

I work hard for what? To see a parade of sh**e on the hallowed turf of Bloomfield Road. Once upon a time Stanley Mortensen, Stanley Matthews and Jimmy Armfield graced that pitch. Now we have wannabee big time charlies who have a lack of passion and fight.

Of course these buffoons in Tangerine and White are led by the Simon Grayson a man who in my opinion has took this club as far as he can. Although the BFC morons will all cry "he got us promoted". Well Football isn't about loyalty it's about progress and at the moment we're not making any.

It would appear Simon has run out of ideas, he signed the wrong players and failed to stengthen the areas that needed tightening. They say 'the second season in the championship is the hardest' and I have to agree, which is why I feel Simon's bluff has been called.

He makes woeful substitutions, at least Hendry would make one decent one every third game, he doesn't see what needs to change when everyone else does. Simon may have got us promoted, but only after stumbling across his best team by accident. He didn't realise Wes was a gem until ten games in, which is when things started to turn round. His substitutions are also incorrectly timed. We could be pushing for an equaliser and he will only bring a striker on with five minutes to go.

A do or die attitude would be applauded, but instead he stands there gormless and clueless knowing he's ran out of ideas. The proof of this is his constant recent tinkering, he's still trying to discover what his best starting eleven is. Personally I don't think he has time and wouldn't hesitate in letting him go. Or would our fans prefer us to be relegated? Don't let loyalty interfere with progress because you will be a fool to think we can recover.
