DJ Turns Up the noise for England Call

Blackpool Striker DJ Campbell is setting his sights on an England cap. The striker; has found the net eight times in the premier league so far this season. After arriving in the summer for a club record £1.25 million pounds from Leicester City.
DJ Campbell started life out in the non-league game before breaking in the proffessional game after been signed by Brentford. Now DJ hopes to emmulate his idols by been one of the few players to have rose through the ranks, from ammatuer to england interntational.
He told Blackpoolfc.co.uk "I do think of England, it's a dream of mine, it can be a funny game and I could end up getting a cap. I could be another Les Ferdinand or Ian Wright, who both played in non-league football too."
He added; "I've met Cyrille Regis a couple of times as well and he started off in non-league and did it. I'd love to think I'm now proving to kids who have had knockbacks and are playing non-league football that it can be done."
"People think it can't happen in this day and age, but it can."
Campbell who had a rocky career has represented England before. Playing for England's "C" Team, a team of non-league players that represents England at international level. Off the pitch he has helped form Pro FC with former manager Martin Allen.
According to the Pro Fc Website the group helps "to give players the chance to show whether they have the ‘X’ factor and can make it in professional football."
