Parish signs for Blackpool

Blackpool have signed there second goal keeper yesterday as the new season approaches, Ell Parish aged 24 joins the club from Bristol City on a twelve month contract with an option for a further twelve. The young keeper started his career with Aston Villa and is set to be included in the squad travelling to the City Ground this weekend to play Nottingham Forest. 

Commenting on the move he said "I’m really pleased to be here, it’s a step up from Bristol City coming from League One to The Championship, so I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead. “

Parish joins loanee Joe Lewis in the battle to be number one and having both had spells at Cardiff the pair know eachother well he added "Joe Lewis is a friend of mine who I know from Cardiff, I look forward to battling it out with him, and it’ll be a good season.”

Fans travelling to Notttingham Forest this weekend are advised to take note that the fixture has been made an all ticket affair and no tickets will be available on the day. Therefore it is suggested fans purchase there tickets from the Ticket office before the end of play Tommorow.
